plotting, cr & brainstorming: training, trainers and trainees!

This here is a chance to throw around ideas for plotting, assumed/handwaved cr or potential thready goodness CR! Sometimes it can be helpful to skip around the basic stuff, though, so we can dive straight into the deliciousness if anyone is tight for time due to RL or anything like that.

This is the first post for trainers and trainees and it will be forever open, but if you guys feel we need a fresh post or something specific (like perhaps an event?) comes up, then I can post new things. Let me know what would work best for you!

SUP, my name is Bella, I play Donny Casey (this kid) who is trying to organise some of this stuff and build solid teams in the case of drops/disappearances/etc. I can be reached via message or on plurk @ karmacharging.

His concern is making sure there is a steady supply without too much overlap so that the moonbase is constantly very well stocked and prepared for fresh influxes of people, and basically in constant GO mode in case shit hits the fan, because... it's this game, when things go bad they go really, really bad.

So far he has coordinated with Stephanie and I was assuming handwaving some of his conversations with other potential trainers, unless you'd like to backdate and play them out!

At present he is going to be moving between different projects a lot as they get going and sort of coordinating them? His major area is the clinic focused inventory and also the first aid kits and training equipment, though.

the important shit; she's shifting between this and first aid kit nonsense, basically, and would definitely be best for administering emergency first aid and also treating patients in the ward. she stays calm under pressure and can totally help keep patients calm and optimistic, so that's - a good thing, right? basically this is why you should want to make things happen with me.

Steph is one of the medics in the clinic! She wasn't working there before the move to the moon, but now that she doesn't, you know, have to patrol and stuff she's been helping out a lot more, so she'll be around there a fair bit.

She's going to design a VR program to help people learn basic first aid, or not basic first aid! though the latter of course will take more time. She'll basically be teaching people what she thinks will be most useful in a battle situation: mostly temporary fixes (how to stop bleeding, how to splint broken bones, etc) and triage so that injured folk don't die before a medic can get there. Once people have got that down, she'd start teaching things like how to clean, stitch and dress wounds, amongst other fun things!

I can be contacted by PM or on plurk faileneume (the latter is probably better, I can be a bit forgetful with PMs) and I'm happy to handwave and play things out, though playing things out may depend on my schedule, but yes c: feel free to hit me up for things.

Hey, I'm Cherry here with Asbel. He is going to be training in first aid for emergency/battle situations and basically making sure people don't die before a medic can get to them to look them over properly.

Here's the catch, though: he has a bad habit of getting emotionally involved in things and his reaction to friends fainting and being stabbed and slumping on the ground is usually to go over and shake their shoulder or try to carry them or plead with them to wake up, so someone gets the wonderful responsibility of trying to train this sort of reaction out of him. He's a determined guy, though, and fortunately he'll listen respectfully when someone's trying to teach him stuff, so there's hope for him. Galadriel is an extremely skilled healer (several thousand years of experience, yo) and while some of that is because of vague ~elf-magic~, quite a lot is herbs and plain old fashioned know how. She'd be more than happy to train people in that! Which might be very useful in low tech/low supply situations.
