plotting, cr & brainstorming: supply run organisers (and supply runners!)

This here is a chance to throw around ideas for plotting, assumed/handwaved cr or potential thready goodness CR! Sometimes it can be helpful to skip around the basic stuff, though, so we can dive straight into the deliciousness if anyone is tight for time due to RL or anything like that.

This is the first one of these posts and I can either keep posting new ones from time to time or this can be a place to touch base. Whatever you prefer. I'll also be making similar posts for other areas so people can be on the same page and have a chance to communicate!


Note: making actual rosters etc would be ridiculous work OOCly and limiting ICly so that I figure is all handwaved and this is more a reference list for everyone to look at for ideas and mission stuff ;u;

SUP, my name is Bella, I play Donny Casey (this kid) who is trying to organise some of this stuff and build solid teams in the case of drops/disappearances/etc. I can be reached via message or on plurk @ karmacharging. The major administrator is Kirian, but Donny is doing a lot of the running around and trying to organise stuff and bringing ideas to Kirian so yes.

So far I have been assuming that Donny has had basic contact with Elizabeth (also called Victoria), and he has also spoken to Skyler, Saul and a few others in his post who I can also direct over here.

His concern is making sure there is a steady supply without too much overlap so that the moonbase is constantly very well stocked and prepared for fresh influxes of people, and basically in constant GO mode in case shit hits the fan, because... it's this game, when things go bad they go really, really bad.

At present he is going to be moving between different projects a lot as they get going. His major area is the clinic focused inventory and also the first aid kits and training equipment, though.

HI! I'm Heather, and this is Saul. He's mostly going to be helping with organizational stuff: keeping lists of who's getting what and when to assist with inventory for the clinic. He'll be monitoring the network to see who's planning on doing what. So he'll mostly be working with Donny, I imagine, as this dude has no medical expertise whatsoever.

Tempest's going on supply runs both to get said supplies and also refill on her magic, since there's no nature on the moon and she's kinda SOL at the moment. But! She's pretty open to any sort of supply run, whether it's the buy it kind of the steal it kind. I can be reached at caffeinic

Hi there I'm Aura, and this is Ella Ellis. She's sort of...God, so yeah, she's going to be making supplies out of stuff and also medicines, but she will also be down to do runs for supplies because she can't do everything, and doesn't want people to depend on her.

She will be also making rounds on the Infirmary for the critically injured, since her divine mojo makes her capable of fixing critically injured people.

BASICALLY, I don't know where to put this, but I suppose this is more handwave-y than anything.

Kate, Gilbert, and Oz did a supply run and while we're not done the log, the gist of it is they're snagging a truck to load supplies on, leaving coordinates, and given you can't bring a truck into the very small moon base anyone working the clinic can go in and out of the Transporter to unload the things they picked up?

Some things I forgot to note Kate would have realized people would need on board: pads and tampons, nicotine patches (they're flavoured... don't ask), shampoos, soaps, and sanitary napkins.

Hello, I'm Manda with Seras. Seras talked with Donny and she's happy to help with supply runs for med stuff for help with maintaining a blood supply for herself and the other vampires on the base - she'd probably do it anyway without that but this is her specific reasoning, yep.

She's good at the sneaky, sneaky because vampire powers and can carry ridic heavy loads and equipment if necessary, though she doesn't have much of a clue about medicine so someone would have to make sure she knows what she's getting, lmao.

YO I'm Hati and this is Rush. He's a tech guy with superspeed, the latter which is very handy for supply runs and that's exactly what he'll be doing a lot of. He's an infiltration specialist and for a superhero he has little qualm about nicking stuff, so he's up for anything. He can grab stuff fast, but he can't carry a whole lot by himself so he needs people to be his pack mules pls

Hey guys, this is Cherry (again) with Asbel!

I unfortunately am really bad at coming up with specific supplies to go on runs for, but I would really love to play out a few supply runs with ideally 1-2 other people for each log. (I find smaller things to be easier to coordinate - unless we have a large group broken into smaller teams, that could also work!)

Anyway, Asbel can serve as a pack mule, distraction, or little white knight (he's a swordsman); he can play team lead or follower without minding either way and has pretty good social/friendy skills for negotiating/bartering and so forth. He's also not above snagging items as long as he's not taking candy from a child or whatever.

I did have a few ideas if anyone was interested. One's going to an agricultural festival to bring back produce (they really should try canning/drying stuff to take back, huh?) and seeds (maybe to grow if they can find a way to make them germinate faster?).

Another was to sneak onto trade ships on the Danube and steal supplies from them. Apparently there's a lot of trouble with piracy and in some cases crews pirate their own cargo?? so that could maybe be an interesting thing to run into. (Stealing stolen goods, why not?)

If anyone wants to be involved with that, cool beans? Sky is kind of going through a lot emotionally so handwaved logs is probably easier at this point unless we're doing some sort of group thing.

Sup everyone I'm Fufu and this is Apollo, a pirate/criminal/thief who is super bored and sick of granola so she'll be doing a lot of food gathering. In particular: hunting, fishing, gathering wild fruits/etc and good old fashioned supermarket robbery for junk food! She has a big ass monster dog who she will be using as a pack mule, plus she can carry a lot herself, so she's able to bring back a lot of crap at once. She can also steal supplies, but will be avoiding medical stuff unless she's with someone else who knows what the hell they're doing because she sure doesn't.

Apollo's not exactly someone who does stuff for strangers without benefit to herself, sooo technically the main goal of her trips is to supply herself, BUT she doesn't mind sharing the excess of stuff she has. Which will be a lot since she's gonna need to get off the moon and stretch her wings and roll around in some mud or whatever often.

SO YEAH go hunting with her, get her to come along on your robbery expedition, whatever goes man. I can be contacted on plurk at Fufuberry so hit me up! We can log or handwave, anything goes.
